What is Hypertech Power Tuning?
Power Tuning is the optimization of the fuel delivery and ignition spark timing curves to produce maximum horsepower and torque. An engine's air, fuel and spark requirements vary throughout its operating range. When Hypertech's engineers and technicians develop Power Tuning for a vehicle, their objective is to absolutely nail the best spark timing and the best air/fuel ratio for every point in the rpm curve.

AEM pioneered the Cold Air induction system for sport compact cars in 1994.
A Cold Air intake system relocates the filter outside of the engine compartment to deliver the coolest air inlet temperatures possible. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horesepower and torque. But that's only part of the power equation. Tuning the inlet pipe in length and diameter to match the engine's resonance helps move more air to the cylinders (think of your engine as a big air pump), and this tuning allows us to deliver the maximum power gains throughout the entire RPM range. We also monitor fuel trim correction factors and all OBDII sensors during R&D to eliminate leaning the engine out and/or throwing a check engine light.

Daystar™ Products launched its polyurethane kit business in 1994 with the introduction of a complete line of polyurethane suspension and drive train components for the light truck and SUV market. We came out with Shock Therapy, the first "all in one" shock dress up kit which includes a shock boot and bushings in matching colors. In 1995 we introduced the Daystar™ Super Kit, the first "all in one" suspension and frame replacement bushing kit. In 1996 we introduced the first polyurethane suspension lift for Jeep TJ Wrangler and XJ Cherokee. In 1997 came the SUPER GREASEABLE SHACKLE, the ultimate lift shackle with 3/8" fully welded side plates and greasable polyurethane bolts and bushings.
